After a dismal 2022, Microsoft wants to release "at least four" first-party games a year, if possible."Our ambition is to release at least four first-party games a year--although we’ll also balance that out with careful consideration for each project's needs," Xbox Wire editor-in-chief Joe Skrebels explained. "That's on top of the work our teams are doing to grow our existing communities that we've fostered over many years like The Elder Scrolls Online, Sea of Thieves, Minecraft, Forza, and so on."This isn't the first time that Microsoft has set ambitious goals for the number of Xbox first-party game releases it wants to deliver every year, as back in 2021.
